Marshgate Group has secured a debut tenant for 100,000 q ft at Horizon 120, a major industrial development in Braintree, Essex.
The first occupier transaction has been agreed at Horizon 120, with Care Co, an independent distributor of care mobility products, committing to the development of a 100,000 sq ft unit. The business will relocate from premises in Brentwood, Essex, upon completion of the unit in Q4 2021.
Infrastructure works are underway and will be completed in March 2021 with bespoke units, ranging from 4,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft, available on a freehold or leasehold design and build basis, for occupation from late 2021.
Horizon 120 is located just off the A120 in Braintree, Essex between the regional growth centres of Chelmsford and Colchester.
Marshgate's managing director David Warburton said: "This is a bespoke build which will give CareCo the exact design, layout and build quality they need to showcase their products, increase their efficiency and improve customer experience. We are looking forward to making a positive start on what will be the first of many new commercial units on the Horizon 120 site."
